I know Evil bay can be a bit dodgey sometimes but you can get  bargain sometimes, I picked up a parcel today from the Post Office with my latest locomotive acquisition.

A brand new up opened Jubilee number 45572, for just over £52 squids bargain or what. The only problem is its in a horrible weathered BR green livery.

Even more good news is that I have a crimson 5572 that needed plates, so guess where the ones in the new engine will go.

I will now have to add it to the paint shop queue, but soon she will emerge a nice crimson

Nice little exclusive Shepherd Neame van by Peco for The Hobby Shop in Faversham.

It was a 'must have' as my parents both came from Faversham and I quite like the beer brewed there, too!

Excellent signed for delivery service, if a tad expensive, from the Hobby Shop.

Been meaning to pick up one of those. Used to live in Faversham and The Hobby Shop was my "local".  Great little shop.

The Eigatani Tetsudo Company is pleased to announce the latest addition to its British rolling stock fleet (click on the link for the proper picture, the forum software has scrunched it up):

farish-generic-gwr-mainline-coaches by Rail Squid, on Flickr

A 55xx tank and a pair of GWR coaches from the little-known rolling stock engineer Gene Eric, who is believed to have produced a number of largely identical designs for the Big 4. None of the prototypes have survived into preservation, and alas any supposed photographic records are of faint blurs in black-and-white photographs which could easily be other coach types.

David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

Just bought another Suburban coach off a friend on this site, plus 3 of the B-T models road vehicles which are really nice, off a e-bay site.

Pre-owned ancient Graham Farish Hall -  7915 Mere Hall

From Rails of Sheffield for £40.  It looks like an older design (brass gear underneath) but seems to run well for what it is.

The plan is to give it an N-Brass front bogie and maybe some more detailing bits, possibly even a new emblem for the tender and some brass name/number plates.

The brass gear chassis are bomb proof, very good buy
