It certainly is Paddy cat number ending in 016.

She will get some muck thrown over it too

QuoteJust purchased this wee best from my local emporium.  Couldn't resist at the price

Lucky you! Fancy a clean, new spec, EWS 08 (latest release is factory weathered) but can't find one anywhere and then you pop up with one at £10.00  :o

Did the shop not test it?!

I honestly don't know if they did or not. It was in their second hand cabinet with the tags on the box you see. I took it to till paid my money and ran like roadrunner.  Couldn't see anything obvious.

Got home took the pictures plonked it on the rollers applied power and bingo.

I wasn't going to ask if they had tested it as at ten pound I was willing to take my chances

You may find that the cylinder 'male chicken' (changed by forum) pipes foul the bogie wheels on tight curves - I fitted mine and then had to remove them as they were the cause of derailments

And if you use curves of an adequate radius shouldn't cause a problem.

Bought the Dapol Arriva Wales set with the Class 67 from Rails earlier in the week. It arrived it, I ran the loco for about 20 minutes then it expired in a puff of white smoke (not exactly unprecedented where Dapol 67s are concerned!)! As it happens I was down that way this morning so took it back and swapped it for another one - just testing it now and so far so good. It was the last one so I really hope this one stays OK!

Going to model shops is deadly when they have good offers on, and I also came away with a Freightliner-livery Class 90 (54 quid) and an oval of OO gauge track plus controller (split from a Bachmann set) (25 quid). Reason for this last one was that I wanted a basic controller for my test loop, and this was actually the cheapest way!
