My new bouncing baby boy  :claphappy:

Arrived yesterday after a brief panic when the tracking showed delivered but no one had called. For some reason the postie gave it to my neighbour  ???

Very pleased and now the renovations on my flat are nearly completed, I'll be able to get on with a suitable scenic location to run it in

i got one of those on saturday, but i got mine from TMC and had it weathered, looks stunning! cant wait to run it, even better it was the last DRS one they had!

Running in my Class 58 EWS from Dapol

:bounce:

Did someone steal the wheels and leave it on blocks? ;)

Nice little runner though, especially for slow speeds but a bit on the noisy side when running faster - the Mrs. asked me in all seriousness if I was using a drill. The low gearing makes it an excellent choice for running the Tomix track cleaning unit (which Dapol resells or rebrands or something).

I wondered why the wheels were spinning????

Finally ready for unveiling after a couple of weeks of fettling... My Christmas present from myself and my Mum and Dad. Picked it up at the show in Falkirk. The guy applied power, it went. Got it home... won't go. Bit more oomph and away it goes! Hmm... but something not right. So I discovered the nose was held on with blu tac, no biggie... After much fiddling, swapping of gears, the armature and idler axles, eventually the key seems to have been filing a bit off the side of the 12t idlers which I surmise were rubbing on the bogie tower round part of the rotation and causing friction. Goes fine now  :D
