Me too, but that one still looks OK in the pics!

Anyway no fiddly bits that I invariably break off trying to get the sucker out of the box.....  :'(

Here's another close up.

Certainly nothing like the standard of the latest BachFar locomotives, like my Jinty, for sure. It'll do fine for me though, especially if I add vacuum pipes and a headlamp.

If there is one Farish steamer that deserves retooling, the 8F would be top of my list

Agreed, a thoroughly useful engine!

Not in current listings and hasn't been for a while, so who knows??

There is no way one can fit one's coaching stock on the layout
Running, as I do, 2 eras based in Oxfordshire I have to double up on LMR, WR, SR and ER stock. This has resulted in me having over 100 carriages

Received my rake of coaches to make my TPO/ mail train. I just need a loco to haul it now - most probably the GarFar Intercity 47 "Titan"

One may have to build a helix with fiddle yards under, in order to store them, as one does when one is in America  ;D

I wish I could build a helix! I see some great ones on here! You folk that can pull it off have my huge admiration. I canna get the angles right, m'lud.  :uneasy:
