That's one thing I'm definitely not guilty of.

I'm a dab hand on the bodgeridoo though.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

Fantastic, many thanks for posting that, incredible

My next attempt at carpentery will involve red wood, won't show the blood stains as much  :smiley-laughing:

As one who has, after years of practice, become an ace at turning perfectly good timber into matchwood and sawdust, I can only admire his workmanship and the fact he still has all his fingers

Pure genius. Just working with his hands and very simple hand tools, he never even stopped when it honked down with rain!!!  :claphappy: :claphappy: :claphappy:

I reckon he could build a rebuilt WC/BOB in an afternoon for us  :D

Papyrus

Not even any sign of plans either, so he must carry that complicated design in his head.

Amazing man.

Cheers,

Chris

I know I'm thick, but it had me guessing until the end just what the hell it was  :dunce:

Being unable to cut a bit of 4 x 2 in half freehand without making a pig's ear of the angle of the cut, I'm in awe.

I liked the way he made the first cuts after tying the block of wood to a tree  ;)

You are quite right about the blood stains, but the wood is Padauk and a piece that size over in the UK would cost a fortune.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

That's a new one on me.

Is Paduk a hard wood? Where's it native to?
