Fortunately not an issue for me, the number of times a week I use it for ebay and online takeaways etc.    :D

Robbing Bar stewards, as if they don't get enough already from combined paypal and ebay fees. They should send the credits to the bank account registered to the account

Appears to be if you leave a balance in your account inactive for at least a year. Why would anyone do that?!

Exactly.  If you're not going to use the account take the money out and close the account.  Simples.  I don't see the problem, it's not free banking after all, they rely on transactional activity.
