Philip.

spent all day cleaning the track, everything running like a dream :D , You don't realise how filthy it gets until you clean it, and to my shame it was filthy

Good news Jack!

The beauty of the Kato system in a nutshell.

I hope to follow suit and get my own permanent Kato layout begun soon. Building works have reached a good stage in the 'train room' but still need to get it reroofed, which will happen next month with luck. Until then temporary layouts - with design mods constantly happening with ease - continue to be my lot.

Happy days ahead.

:beers:

I am always happy when I read posts like the ones from @daffy and @Jack above. I think Kato track is the bees knees, (do bees have knees  ???). As far as I am concerned, the 'sameness' is so easily disguised it might as well be used by all of us who do not want the hassle of point motors etc. Well done gents.

Well, redundancy 1-to-1 meeting concluded and I think it went very well.

My goal for this meeting was to put a £5k Microsoft Azure training course on the table and hopefully get a positive response. Tick! The response was "Don't foresee any problem, will have a definite answer for you inside 12 hours".

So time for me to tweak the old CV and start applying for Azure Administrator posts. Time for MBH to start checking out villas for rent in Florence around July/August. :claphappy:

Thanks for all the messages of support I've received here - they really helped me to enter this meeting with a positive attitude and thus I'm sure helped for a positive meeting. :beers:

I have no idea what Azure is, but it sounds promising. Good on ya.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.
