Richard lost his long and very brave battle on Tuesday evening.

I will pass on any condolences as his wife is not au fait with his computer.

Dock Shunter

A very brave and dignified gentleman who even faced with a losing battle against his illness thought of helping others with his fund raising for the centre where he was being treated.
Thanks for letting us know Pete.......

Condolences passed on to Jean.
She is making efforts to thank you all on here but is not a computer expert.
Funeral this coming Monday.

Did a fast 200 mile trip yesterday to collect a very full Volvo Estate load of Richard (Wheeltapper)'s model railway chattles.
He was kind enough to ask me to deal with this side of his estate and, of course, I am pleased to assist.
Up until 1am just sorting into locos, wagons, coaches, trams, buildings, books, scenery and consumables.
He had already sold a lot prior to the full time whistle.
Anyone need 150 wagons in need of attention?
If you have an interest (in virtually anything!) let me know by PM.
The cash raised is going to Jean who (at the moment) is inclined to give it to his treatment centre.
I'll put this post on YMR and RMW too.

Tank

Sorry to hear the bad news.

Feel free to advertise anything in the For Sale section.

ddolfelin

Thanks, Tank.

There is everything from Industrial Buildings to Trams - not all in 'N' of course.
Will take me some time to assess it all - there is a vast quantity.
I'll probably tackle the buildings first as they take up the most room.

Do we have any members interested in HO trams?
There is, what appears to be, a full kit, unopened, of tram track and road surface from luna-tram (which I can see was very expensive indeed) plus trams in most scales.

Thanks again for your help - it's a massive task but, of course, interesting as a fellow modeller.

pm or email me with any N gauge stuff you want to sell and I will sort it out for you mate and we will work out how to get the funds to Jean

ddolfelin

Thanks, Lawrence.
I have a system in place for that but I'll certainly take up Tank's offer of space on the 'For Sale' section.
Will take some time to sort, assess and test everything.
In a little world of my own.
