My wife and son love skiing and have been to several places in France and also Lake Louise Canada  There is know way you would get me skiing and I doubt that they would do any ski jumps ,while in Canada we did see the Calgary ski jumps .

I've often wonderred, how do you start ski jumping, at some poit you've got to launch yourself off that hill?

I recommend the biopic about Eddie the Eagle which explains how a short-sighted builder's son from Bristol got into ski jumping
