I like the idea of an 'N' gauge layout but will not have the time to build it. If it is not too sacrilegious to come on here and ask for recommendations for a company who can build a lay out for me, I would be obliged for any suggestions.

May I suggest the purchase of any "Railway Modeller" magazine, there are several offering their services in the pages.

Alternatively, visit your local model rail shop (you WILL be needing them) and enquire there?

Seriously (for a change) complete layouts often appear on e-bay. If one comes up near to you consider it and employ a delivery company to collect.
