NGS Shop - Urgent News

Following admission to hospital, where she has undergone major surgery, our Shop Manager Carol will be incapacitated for 4 – 6 weeks. During this time Ray will process and despatch members’ orders as his other commitments and responsibilities permit, but it is inevitable that delays will occur during this time, so please be patient.

Please help us by not contacting the Society Shop during this time to ask why the order you posted a few days ago has not been delivered (yes, it does happen) as this will only delay matters further.

Carol works so hard for the NGS and it's members I am sure I speak for everyone in wishing her a speedy recovery.

My thoughts go out to Carol and Ray. I wish her a speedy recovery.

I would ask the moderators to make this notice a 'sticky' so that everyone gets the message not to overwhelm the NGS shop.

I had the pleasure of meeting Carol at Tings and thanked her personally for giving of her life for all members.

Sorry to hear of her being taken to hospital, I sincerely hope that everything goes well for her and her family.

I've just received my NGS handbook and shop price list and was thinking of placing a little order, but perhaps it's best to hold off for a while... Get well soon, Carol

I have spoken to Ray and Carol is out of hospital, but is very bruised and sore. She is going back into hospital for some more scans.

I will keep you updated when I know more?

I am glad to hear that Carol is out of hospital,

Im sure we all wish her a speedy recovery and a big thanks to Ray for 'holding the fort' at the shop.
