Working fine here. Any other members having problems?

Working ok here as well, using MS Edge.

emjaybee

Aha.

Mine is NOT working, but in an odd way.

From this thread it links to 'Forum Problems', from another to 'Layout Construction', and from another to somewhere else.

It seems to be linking to the forum topic home page from where I click. All with the same error message as above.

Galaxy S20 running Chrome.

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

Bealman

Ok, looks like our Tech or @Tank are going to need a look at it.

Mine continues to work using an old version of Firefox.

From this thread it jumps to report an event page as you report.  Strange, destination appears to be linked to origin.

Using firefox latest version on win10 home.

Just for clarity for others, it is the "link to calendar" button at bottom of thread page being discussed, not the calendar menu item at the top which works ok.

Hmmm. I just erased your original post using the link! Got me stumped. Perhaps you might like to post that error message again, @NinOz

I'm not sure what's happening here.

Maybe it works differently for moderators than mere mortals. Especially as the error message (I get it as well) relates to permissions.

Once again, hmmm. I'm basically in the dark here (I've never had occasion to use the feature), so I'm going to hand over to @Tank and @Only Me

Yeah, that was me playing around with the link. I replaced the message Ninoz got with Testing. Apparently people are getting links weird places and error messages.

I'm out of my depth here as I have never had any need to use the calendar link.

No.
From this thread if I click on the "link to calendar" button at bottom of thread page, it jumps to report an event page.  However if I click on the button on this page ( https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=1459.msg723208;topicseen#msg723208 ) I get:

N Gauge Forum »    For Sale / Wanted  - Hidden from users with less than 10 posts. »    eBay

An Error Has Occurred!
You aren't allowed to modify just any post.

I assumed that clicking the button from any page would just jump to the calendar page.  Just a bit of a surprise outcome.  Perhaps it is doing its thing, whatever.

This has nothing to do with the calendar menu item at the top of the page which seems to work ok.

Using firefox latest version on win10 home.

That area of the forum you won't be able to modify posts/add
Entries as it's not your own there but elsewhere you can create calendar entries to shows etc (there was a missing setting which I've applied)

Ps calendar entries are globally visible to all logged in users...

If I clink on the Calendar button it takes me to:

That's correct gents that's what you should get

- the link event page with date options for putting calendar link to thread into calendar

When I click on calendar I get this:

The link I posted, gives me the above result. If you get a different result, then that is curious.
