Its a shame his wife thinks he's sad. That's a nice little railway line.
I had a friend whose back garden backed onto Horsham station, and he was seriously considering buying a class 33 when they were first coming up for retirement in the 1990s and installing it at 90 degrees to the main line on a short (60') length of track!

mind you, EC has lots of room at his farm  >:D

I know if I had suggested that, I would be DEAD in the shed.  :dighole:

I was doing track maintenance 2 days a week on the Epping - Ongar railway until the lockdown, now I can only work on the small railway. no room in my garden even for a Wickham trolley or our track maintenance vehicle, Badger which I qualified to drive just before the lockdown started. talk about frustration!
