2-8-0 & "Hairy Bikers"

Did anyone watch the programme the other evening with the hairy bikers allegedly helping with the reconstruction of a 2-8-0 locomotive?

Was such a locomotive ever modelled in "N"?

I don't think so, it also seems to have been the only one using a Standard 7 boiler, although the dimensions of it aren't too far off the Castle class' standard 6 boiler. So feasibly if you can hack together a suitable 2-8-0 chassis with express size wheels you might be able to jam it under a Castle body to start with a reasonable approximation

For those coming new to the thread this dicussion is about the GWR Express Freight 47xx (http://www.knowles-cadbury-brown.co.uk/4709/). 
AFAIK it was the only design with that boiler and there's nothing rtr or in kit form available or planned.  The only N gauge/2mm model of a 47xx that I'm aware of is John Birkett-Smith's scratchbuilt one.  See about 2/3 of the way down his loco roster here: http://small-but-perfectly-formed.blogspot.co.uk/

It's on my wish list to design for 3d printing, but will be a good few years off I'm afraid.

If you are wanting any '2-8-0' loco Dapol do a, GWR 2884. Farish do a WD Austerity 2-8-0 and a Stanier LMS 2-8-0.
