My (and Mrs B's) Samsung Galaxy Tab3 is up to tricks again. Forum members have been very helpful in the past, however this one may be tricky.
Yesterday morning, web pages including this forum (my phone works fine) stopped loading. The address is displayed, it starts loading, but then locks up.
The same with my wife's.
Interestingly, emails via Yahoo come in fine, including notifications from the forum. However, when I click on the link to the post, it locks up again.
Netflix works fine in Mrs B's tablet. We just can't look at web pages.
We have been on the NBN for a few months now. I turned the new modem off and turned it back on (this forum advice worked on the old modem), but no result.
Any ideas appreciated as always.
George
Have you tried rebooting the tablets? Aka soft reset
Hold the power button and volume down button at the sametime. If done correctly the screen will turn black and automatically start the reboot process. 3. Press the power button and restart the device and test if the problem is gone.
I am assuming it's the app that you're using to browse the internet, can you see if changing the forum url from http:// to https:// at the start makes a difference?
Thanks guys!
I've actually done a soft restart before, and forgot about it!
Now here's the strange part.... it's mysteriously started working again all by itself, almost exactly 24 hours later!
Weird.
Sorry for wasting everyone's time! :thankyousign:
It just wanted a day off, George.

It is kinda strange, though.... as if the modem doesn't want to talk to a tablet device or vice versa.
Black magic stuff to me :uneasy:
