I've had 5 of these in the last hour or so.

Anyone else getting them?
I hit "Retry" and I get connected again back to where I was, but it's annoying.
It just happened again when I left this page!!!
No problems here. I am using Opera on Win10.
All good here.
Chrome on Android.
Must be an antipodean thang! Payback for all that nice weather you have.
:-*
It's raining at the moment!

....and so begins phase II of our payback plan.
Fine here on an iPad - fine weather, fine forum.

got a similar message when I tried to open up this morning, clicked on reload and now ok and the padlock is back.
Not just an Antipodean prob then :hmmm:
No such thing experienced by me.
I just got another one a couple of minutes ago. Bloody annoying!
Bloody well just happened again, when I went to look at daffy's response on my Triang thread.
Maybe it's the thread!
Just got one
I used to get these when on my mobile router. Sometimes so bad that I just gave up, eg. eight in a row when refreshing the same page.
Currently on normal landline broadband, & no problems.
Yes, this was on the house broadband,. I've watched a video and am just about to turn in, but it seems ok at the moment.
Will see how it is in the morning.
Had it intermittently on mobile earlier.
QuotePeer could not decode an SSL handshake message.
Probably just glitches in the interwebs, social distancing means the bits find it harder to do the handshake.

Getting it again this morning, and it's on my mobile.
Not life threatening, but bloody annoying.
all ok for me, could be related to which Mobile network you are on.
Could be, I guess, but NewportNobby got one last night as did others over there. But it could be related to their providers too, maybe. :hmmm:
ah yes! curios. i have been getting a similar message from the Revolution site occasionally. It must be all the people now working from home overloading it for us retired folk.
OK, next time I get one. How do I do that on me laptop again? I've forgotten! :-[
Just got it on the computer at home:

That's the one! Just got it on my mobile looking at this, too.
Personally I think someone should finally hunt down and capture this Peer guy, who's been interrupting internet connections for going on quarter of a century now.
Not sure if this is relevant, but checked the address line on my browser and it had the a (i) where the padlock would normally be. So took the attached for the techs to check.
It appears to depend on which page you are on for this to occur. at the moment all are showing the padlock.
cheers

That's an indication of insecure element within an otherwise secure page - most likely an image hosted off site, ether a posted image or someone's avatar?

I quite agree. He's a complete and utter gynt >:(
Aye, that's Smorgan alright ;)
Some internet comments seem to link this error to the TLS security level being negotiated for the secure connection. I know from work that recommended TLS security level has been increased over the past year and we had to make changes to some of our external system connections.
Touch wood, nothing this evening so far (8.05pm AEST) :laugh2:
