Title: Freightliner Class 57 Nameplates
Post by: Rabbitaway on August 03, 2023, 05:30:14 PM
Hi All
I picked up a second Farish 57003 "Feightliner Evolution' for a very good price. Now that I have two 57s, I would like to change the identity on one loco. I have checked the usual suppliers of nameplates, but none seem to have any n gauge nameplates for Feightliner 57s.

I see that Railtec offer 3d printed transfers that can be ordered for any loco with standard nameplates styles and white numbers, has anyone tried these in n gauge and do they work well, they seem to have good feedback for larger scales

Thanks

Railtec 3d printed nameplates are superb!

usual disclaimer, no link other than being a very pleased customer.

best wishes

I'll go against the mould and say that I don't really like the Railtec 3D nameplates (in N at least, they lack finesse IMO). Brian at Shawplan is rather elusive a lot of the time, but I'd take properly etched plates every time. Railtec decals are superb though.
