I purchased a rather interesting job lot of old 1980/90s vintage kits on eBay, whcih included some rather interesting etched components from a company called Tru-Scale models.

The items in question are etched coach ends for the Mark 1 and Class 421/3/491 EMU.

In the case of the EMU ends, these are designed to be build up in layers and have very fine end pipes and a fold-up gangway. The Mk1 ends are similarly fine with separate footsteps to fit.

I have never come across Tru-Scale components before and wonder if anyone can shed light on what happened to their kits and what else they might have produced?
