Friends,

I need your help again!

Being colourblind does not help in some circumstances and this is one of them!

I have just completed construction of the factory from Metcalfe and I see from other posters that they have used water colour pencils to blend in the corners of the building.

What is that colour of the brickwork relative to water colour pencils available?

Regards, Peter.
Each can do but little, BUT if each did that little, ALL would be done!

I use cheap water colour paint Peter and the one I use for Metcalfe brickwork is just labelled brown. I've found that you only need to get the colour roughly right on the corners for it to look ok. So I don't bother mixing colours to get an exact match.

Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

Burnt Sienna looks about right to me, watercolor paint is available in separate blocks of colour from artists shops, acrylic paint in tube form would work as well. Why not take a building with you when you go shopping for paint and get a shop assistant to help you match the colour.

As Austin Bob says, it doesn't have to be a 100% colour match.
