I don't understand this as it clearly does not apply as only one attempt has been made

I have had this strange notice twice and like you all I had not attempted to post twice.

This is something that has recently cropped up and is being investigated.

Just happened to me and yet earlier posted without issue.

me too, first time yesterday.

also quite often click "post" and find myself back at the index page. For this reason, I generally select and ctrl-C my text before hitting "post", so if this happens I can try again and ctrl-v rather than retyping everything.
