Title: Hornby lyddle end and farish items
Post by: 1936ace on October 30, 2013, 04:15:11 AM
Hi all, I have been asked by a fellow worker if I would be interested in buying his n gauge collection. All items are new with only the locos test run in the model shop.
There are about 250 odd farish wagons, a dozen locos and about sixty lyddle end buildings..
I have been given the lists and as it is very detailed and long I thought I would ask if anyone was interested and if so I could email them the list to see if anything interested them
Most buildings are A$10-20 with some A$7.50 and the wagons are a$7.50 to 10.
Our dollar is roughly 60p if that helps
He is only changing back to 00 as he is finding it hard having originally gone from 00 to n.
if anyone is interested then pm me your email and I will pass it on. We can talk money/postage stuff later
Thanks
Bart

Hi all, sorry for being slow at this, trying to get postage rates is harder then I thought. I will use some of farish or hornby items of similar and get the rates off the oz post site to give anyone a guide.
I hope this helps.
The old bloke I'm trying to help out lives 4hrs drive from me so catching up is hard

Just an extra, the items are new still in their original box, with the locos just test run at the model shop, as he never got to do a track/layout.
As an example N8852 the goods shed retails here in Australia for A$76 so I think he is asking a good discount for here but I think they are still good seeing what is currently on evilbay

As I don’t know the weight of each item, the above may help to work out totals, hattons website for example has weights on each of there item and as I most likely will not get the item until Sunday I cant give exact figures for postage. If you are happy with the guesstimate from the above, let me know I will package up and get exact price with which you can pay me either by direct deposit or paypal as a gift

Hi all, just a quick thank to those who took an interest from Kevin who had his n gauge item up for grab and especially those who bought some items. He is very happy that some items have gone to new homes and that he can go back to the bigger scale.

Update from the old bloke, he has just found another box of new stuff, I'm amazed at how much he bought & never got to do anything with it. Dapol wagons & peco wagons are up for grabs mostly milk tankers in the peco & ferry wagons
As before pm me for lists
Thanks bart
