In memoriam:

75 years ago, on the beaches of Normandie...

The 80th anniversary of the declaration of war is coming up as well. It seems ironic that we're heading towards the ingredients for another major war (Brexit, Trump, trade war, Iran etc.)...

I was on gold beach at 07:15 (local time) to see about 200 + WW2 vehicles and witness piper mark the moment 75 years early the 1st British men landed.

The view was amazing the moment was special well worth getting up at 5 for. Dams over Normandy yesterday all very memorable.
