My latest efforts at the conversions can be found by linking to the first pictures here and then scrolling through the various stages. I have never really made them to be super detailed efforts, just something that will look the part at normal viewing distances :D

If it looks difficult it probably is, but might as well get on with it anyway!

My NG Forum 10 year Anniversary wagon has arrived today, and very nice it is too. I tried has hard has I can to show a picture in the box, but the site was having none of it. It just would not show the picture the correct way round, 8 attempts is just too much. So this one of the wagon on my layout.

Purchased from Hattons, quite pricey but runs well.  Has found a few track issues that need fixing.

Thanks to Bob G for locating this for me.

Order from Kernow arrived today.

The two cars in the middle are clay wagons.

With risk of it looking like Falcon Works Loughborough in 1991, the current group of 47s are pushed out for photographs.

47710 - my own version of 47706 in ex ScotRail livery in her horrendous unkempt state with NSE flashes added

47310 - Henry Ford fresh out of shop with etch plates including Tinsley shed logo and BR arrows

47715 - Resplendent in her newly applied Network SouthEast livery, I'm probably wrong but I think Haymarket was the first 47 to wear this version of NSE livery

Part of my birthday presents from my son and daughter. They are now awaiting decals before being weathered.

Kev,

Ditape

They have eventually arrived the Class 800 chip sets.

hopefully mine will be on their way before too much longer, although knowing my luck they will be in the next shipment at end of March.

This little beauty arrived this afternoon......

I thought to start with the maroon was a deeper shade than standard BR maroon but here's a comparison with a Hawksworth BR maroon. See what you think........

Huge thanks to @dannyboy Kernow, Farish and, of course, my parents - without whom none of this would be possible :D

Glad it arrived safe and well Mick. Looking at the photograph, the colours look almost identical.

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

I ordered some toothpaste online but the store was out of stock and they sent this as a substitute:
