Has anyone ever made a twin tender 4472 as run by Alan Pegleg (the well known typo)?
As ever, I'm late to the party but thought maybe I should have one as, for whatever reason, it was an icon. I see Dapol have announced one but only single tender and in a set with teaks I don't want

I may be wrong, but if memory serves @Bob Tidbury has a Farish one where he has added a second tender?

I vaguely remember a resin body being offered by someone years ago.

Today, Farish/Bachmann or Dapol spare parts combined with some sheets of plasticard are the way to go.

Scotsman's second tender appeared in two liveries - LNER Green with 4472 on the side and BR blue/grey with white lining (to match coaching stock at the time).

It was also re-built since the 1970s - the interior side walk way was changed to a crawl space above the water tank. Externally this resulted in the filler being moved.

Other than 4472, it's only ever been used with A4 "Bittern".

Only one tender

That's not the right condition for its time with the second tender...
You need a version with single chimney and no smoke deflectors.

Dapol have previously done Scotsman in that condition on its own (not in a train pack with coaches) but only one tender- 2S-011-007.

As others have said, it's never been done RTR in N with two tenders, and remember the second tender was cmodified to be a water tank only so it's not as simple as adding a second standard tender.
It is/was available as a resin casting and a 3D print but they of course would need painting to match...

This is one of the things on my 'list'. I got a few Dapol 8 wheel tender chassis' about 6 months ago, and they are sat waiting for me to get on with them!

As a relatively basic shape / construction, my plan is to scratch built them in a similar manner to the process I used for my streamlined B17 tender.

I made my second tender from a standard Farish one ,
But there is so much drag that I had to remove most of the metal and the pickups and now the loco just about manages the two tenders and 6 Minitrix coaches that I had to remove the weights from but I am not a rivet counter and I am happy with my effort .
A fellow club member then very kindly removed the letters and put the  numbers on for me as my hands are not steady enough now .
I still havnt mastered putting photos on here but I did post a photo on the Forum Facebook page ages ago but its now deleted from my folder ,as I had a problem on my Ipad .
The loco is a single chimney without smoke deflectors and is in  LNER Apple Green livery.

This is the variant I'd be looking for but it's only being offered with 4 teaks, although @Firstone18 might be interested in those. I'm not physically able to create models so would have to prevail upon some poor volunteer to make me a suitable tender in the same livery.
Still, it's not due out until Q4 2024 so I have time to decide

1966-1968 more likely, the 2nd tender was painted blue in the 70's, she was overhauled at Darlington in 66 and they painted the cylinders like that as was their tradition
