I just noticed that the N Gauge Discussion subforum is now no longer visible when not logged in. Was this changed intentionally or by mistake?
As I often read the forum without logging in because I work with different computers, I think it would be a pity if this was no longer possible. :(

Just found the same, could not see much except the computer help section until I logged in, Notice though today some other sites won't load and things generally have been slow to load at times.

You beat me to making an announcement!

Sadly the forum is under attack by a lot of 'bots' lately, and they are really slowing the forum down.  We've tried blocking IP numbers from certain countries, but more are still searching the forum constantly and using resources.  So, for now, I have removed almost every board from the view of 'guests', and you will need to login.

I hope it doesn't cause too much upset, and I may look into reversing this in weeks to come.

Makes you wonder what the bots are after?  Harvesting images? user names and maybe even emails etc.?

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

To be fair, pics of combine harvesters are pretty rare on this forum :)

Does anyone make an N gauge combine harvester? I may want one in the future.

I'll refrain from putting images up for a while too

That looks pretty good, thanks. I'd rather have a yellow New Holland though..................

Ps, just seen the price of the Claas, ouch!
