Annoying online experience. Toy Train Heaven

I noticed Toy Train Heaven were showing a Shay in stock. I emailed them to check if it really was in stock and they said that the website is updated as things are sold. A few days after ordering I noticed no money had gone from my account and emailed them. They just got back to me to say they have been sold out since 2007. Grrrr.

I and a few mates have found that is quite common we now buy all our American stuff from Trainworld, no problems with them for over two years, must admit its a pain if these online retailers don't keep their websites up to daye :thumbsdown:

What makes it more annoying is that I checked before ordering.
Here is their exact reply:
Sir, if the item is on web site is is available, all items disappear from web site when sold out. We cab tell you what shipping will be until order is placed freight is by weight, so when your order is picked then freight is determined.

This is their recent response:

'Sir they were available to order but not in stock. They announced these in
2009 an lost there builder so now that they have a new builder as of a month
ago they might actually run these . Let me know if you want on the advance
reservation'

I think 'available' is the wrong term for this personally.
