does anyone else get annoyed when a member asks for info or is looking for an item, you PM to say you have one and suggest they get in touch to discuss, and they don't even acknowledge the PM.

makes you feel it's a waste of time trying to help some people.

daffy

Well, I've read what you said, but I'm not going to reply. :P

Had my vaccine jab Thursday morning (Oxford/Astrazeneca) and some side effects kicked in yesterday. I just could not stay warm and was very tired so retired to the warmest place in the house i.e. my bed at 4pm, dozed until 6pm ish, watched DS9 then Enterprise then Next Generation and slept from 9.30 ish through to 8am today. Still feel like  :poop: but, hey, it's much better than the alternative!

Malc

Apart from catching coronavirus at the vaccination centre, i suffered no ill effects of the Pfizer jab, not even a sore arm.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

daffy

Sounds like a similar reaction to the Oxford as my own, Mick, though what's so wrong with the alternative? I think Babylon 5 is so much better than Enterprise? :D

A day or two from now you'll be back to normal.

An American comedian (Bob Hope?) said the same when asked what it was like to be 90.

Nearly, it was George Burns at 99 on the Parkinson show.

Papyrus

Minor disasterette...:

Fortunately, it wasn't stuck down and is repairable.

The moral of the story is - always make sure everything on the shelf above the layout is secure.

:( :dunce:

Cheers,

Chris

PS. I really must fill in the gap between the two areas of cobbles...

bit baffled,
listed two locos yesterday for sale,

got this

Your listing requires approval. Once approved your listing will become visible and will then be able to add pictures.

then I get told listing refused cause no photos  :veryangry:

just relisted the first one again, WITH PHOTO and got the same message.

now totally baffled

guest311

listing both now approved, so is the message an error, or do you need to have a listing approved before you can add photos.
or should you add photos in the first place and ignore the message ?

where is my scottish water  :beers:

No idea why on that one ???
Mods have been told not to approve ads without pics and I think the initial message about adding pics once the ad is approved is very misleading.
