I do the two-year test every time it arrives, and have had colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (doesn't go so far as the colonoscopy), and the usual gloved finger approach for prostate checks. I've also had barium xray tests of the entire digestive system. For me, though there is never a 100% guarantee with these tests that they will discover any existing disease or problem, I'm quite happy - if that's the right word :o - for them to be carried out.

After all, it's my life I'm looking after.

The doctor I go to does both ends at once if you request it, ie a colonoscopy and a trachyoscopy (sp?).

I ask him to make sure to do the throat first  :D
