But not for me !!
Having never seen or handled an N gauge loco (or anything else) try to imagine my surprise/shock/pleasure when I opened my first Graham Farish loco the other morning.
It was/is a 57XX Pannier Tank and wow just wow, a work of art in miniature, next up was another Farish, this time a 61XX Prairie Tank and again wow, they are both superb in every way, I had wondered about the level of detail and I have to say I'm very impressed.
I have ordered a Kato unitrack M2 set just to get me up and running and I can't wait, it's like a 2nd childhood but better :D please tell me that the pleasure never wears off.
The pleasure never wears off. :D
But the bank balance has a habit of decreasing, some say (well, my wife says) exponentially! ;D
Welcome to the wonderful world of N Gauge, and this superb Forum.
As @daffy (https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=5634) says, the pleasure never wears off but the bank balance does fall! :worried:
Congratulations on going down the Unitrack route - there are plenty of hints and tips on the forum on how to use the various aspects of Unitrack, as well as on this site - www.fiferhobby.com (http://www.fiferhobby.com).
And welcome to the forum.
