Right now I'm track laying. I've managed to stick a 3-way turnout over a baseboard support so I'm experimenting with some wire-in-tube which will lead to a repositioned Cobalt motor (which will sit under the baseboard)[smg id=30743 type=preview align=center caption="Track laying progress - 3 way turnout"]

Had the same problem and used the WIT method with great success, probably helps to put an omega loop in the wire somewhere to enable a little adjustment.

About to start laying track on baord 2 using WIT. Caz, please explain what an omega loop is in this context.

An omega loop is a bend you put in the wire near one end in the shape of the Greek letter omega (haven't got the symbol on this keyboard!). It allows a bit of 'give' in the mechanism and you can adjust the loop to get the throw just right

About to start wiring the lighting in earnest.
It's a job I hate but it'll look good once it's completed (I hope).
I'll get round to fixing it drekkly me 'ansome.

Caz,

Also going for a turntable and shed in a small space freed up by track changes. Very early days yet. Trying for a Swanage sort of look.

Looking good Clive, assume the shed is going to get a hat sometime.   :)

Well I managed despite a few health issues this weekend with me and the Domestic to do a little modelling, and its meant the locomotive fleet may soon be expanded further?

added white weathering powder to my kestrel kits to make the bricks stand out a bit more. what's the point of having plastic kits if you can't see the 3d detail?

To be called pompous and arrogant - hell of a come down.
I tried so hard to be snobbish and haughty.
