Having acquired some of the excellent Revolution Trains JNA/MMA EALNOS bogie open box wagons, how to depict them being unloaded in an aggregates yard?

Does anyone know of a source of N gauge excavators with clamshell grab buckets? Any suggestions appreciated - thanks.

Thank you Steven B for your response with referral to an eBay option which I will consider.

The lack of other replies with options highlights that a ready made clamshell grab bucket excavator does not seem to currently exist! Surely this would be an opportunity for a model vehicle producer such as Oxford to add to their range - here's hoping.......

Likely not to be an attractive proposition for Oxford in N. The 3D printed model comes from a reliable designer who is an N gauge modeller.

Yep, and as well as 3D printed versions currently available there have been RTP and kits with clamshell/bucket grabs such as the Tomytec Poclain 45Y and the GHQ Bucyrus-Erie 30-B.

Try Snoci-73 on eBay, he will 3d print you this piece of plant to order at a very reasonable cost

Look at my post on construction plant and some of great items he has 3d printed for me

crewearpley40/Chris, woodbury22uk, Bazza & Rabbitaway -
Thank you all for the extra suggestions and links which I will investigate further.

I am also going to search online for information on aggregate depots for details of the specific makes of excavators with clamshell attachments used at these sites.
