My maroon one is already running on my WR based layout, Hatton's have had them in for a while, mine arrived last week.   :P

Tut Tut - so where's your pics and a review :nerner:

Sorry, the same place as my Blue Pullman sound video, the pannier sound tutorial and home made light bar tutorial, just haven't had time as I have a lot else going on at the mo, hope to be back up to speed in the next couple of weeks.   :sorrysign:

I've just 'stumbled' across a Mk1 BR Maroon SK Coach (374-061B) that I have been stuggling to locate online anywhere at a local shop near to one of our sites.

No pic though as everyone know what they look like!

No exaggeration, there must have been at least 100 of the various types on the shelves!

Recieved my first ever Dapol purchase yesterday, Very pleased with it, I got it at a good price, brand new, been running it in, was a little noisy at first but its getting quieter, is it normal for Dapol locos to be noisy? Its got lovely detail & lights, much better than my old Farish versions. Only problem is my old Farish swallow livery mk3 coaches are a different shade to the Dapol ones which looks a bit odd, been searching online for Dapol swallow livery mk3's but looks like they are hard to find  :-\

My third Dapol 86 so far...probably my favourite N locos.

Here's hoping for a future release of BR Blue and Executive liveries...

I can only comment on the Dapol locos I have bought and they do seem to take an inordinate amount of running in before they quieten down  :(

Cheers, just wondered as it seems to make more noise than the new farish loco's I have.

cheers, Stu.

All lovely looking models, folks. I particularly like the green one - as I insist on insisting, the ONLY colour for a diesel!!!  :D
