Wow, nice! Never heard of them. Will have to go looking now. Even at 720p, some of the depth still makes it through.

Excellent @kusojiji , I went through a GRP phase in the 80s and 90s. As you said some class acts inc. Lee Ritenour and Larry Carlton on the label. Trouble was that eventually a lot of the output become a bit predictable and boring. Dave Grusin also has had a fine career in scoring TV and Film music.

Have you heard Special EFX (GRP)...

I have liked Dave Grusin, not just for his playing but for his record label as well. GRP does very good mixing and engineering on their records that makes it sound very deep and with rich timbre. I like the artists on that label.

Yes Mick @Newportnobby , "Ashes Are Burning" was always the highlight of a Renaissance gig, but unfortunately normally the encore!

That's an impressive list of jazz artists there Mike @Dorsetmike - some really big names!

Have you heard of Dave Grusin, here he is with DE's "Caravan"...

Dave Grusin will be 91 next week.

That 44 is running smooth as silk! Mind you, the Duchess ain't doing badly either.

You're going to have to show me how to do these flicker things. They always seem to work well!

I managed to see Renaissance twice back in the 1980s, at Bournemouth Wintergardens and Poole Arts centre. The other group of that era I would have liked to see was Focus. My main musical interest was and still is Jazz and big bands of the 30's through '50s. I got to see Ellington, Basie, Woody Herman, & the reformed Glen Miller orchestra, George Shearing, Ted Heath, MJQ, Ella Fitzgerald, Acker Bilk, Nat Gonella and some of the "Jazz at the Philharmonic" tours of the late 1950s.
