Sorta reminds me of the particle accelerator at CERN. You could fang a loco around and around until it reached almost light speed, switch a point to hurl it down a straight track into a wall, and hey presto, you've discovered the Hicks Boson. 

Is that related to the Higgs Boson or the Hoggs Bison?

Depends who Mummy is. Could be pigalo or buffig.
But more to the point, we haven't covered frogs yet. Could they be the answer to changes in direction?
