Hi All,

To motorise this kit, here is a link to the Kato 11-103 chassis

I'm just writing the instructions for the kit

Thanks.. quick glance over it. What is "Shapways.com" - otherwise looks ok and I assume you have all the needed permissions for the picture.

I guess I'd query

"designed for the N Gauge Adult Collector" - won't he be very very small

Thanks Alan :-)  :laughabovepost:

Fixed the Shapeways error, and also made the warning re adult collectors clearer.

These changes are now in the file linked above.

It's clearly mine and Stevens first set of modelling instructions, so any more constructive feedback/criticism is always appreciated.

Regards, Tony

I bought one of these bodies from Etched Pixels and have enjoyed working on it.

So far its been cleaned up and painted, a few details added including new buffer beams and buffers. Transfers are on order.

The window glazing is drying in this image. The external handbrake wheel has been sourced and the body side mounted ladder will be added once the transfers are done.

I'm driving the real thing on Sunday at Middletons Diesel Gala. May take it along for a photo...

Hi Tony,
Just spotted a typo in your pdf.
In your safety notice ' If it not suitable' should read 'It is not suitable'
Just a minor thing.

Really excellent modelling work, Andy. I look forward to seeing the picture of the final version.

Many thanks for the kind comments. Its my first model in N. Most of my 'modeling' is 12" to the foot with the P2 project.
