I've been contacted by Rails of Sheffield about the new Class 31 I have on pre-order, good news is Bachmann now have them & they will be available within a few days, bad news is the price has risen from 93.46 to 100.26

cheers, Stu.

I'm glad that I pre-ordered mine with Hattons as they have honoured their pre-order price promise. I note that Rails only seem to maintain their price promise for 12 months whereas so far Hattons have honoured their pre-order prices as given on order.

Had an email from Hattons today to let me know that the Class 31 in BR Blue has been packed and is in  its way to me. Looking forward to it.  :)

I received the email from Hattons today that my 3 pre ordered blue ones are in stock. Just have to call them in the morning to add a rake of 28 wagons to the order and I should be good.

I never do get email advice of posting of pre-orders when something arrives at Rails, Stu  ??? It just turns up a couple of days later chez moi.
Having just ordered a late crest 4F today I hope they both arrive in the same package :hmmm:
I guess the next arrival will be the Cumbrian Mountain Express pack so the bank balance is getting a bit of a hammering lately  Time to sell some body parts, methinks :worried:

It's the 1st pre-order I've ever done, usually just buy them when they are in the shops. When I pre-ordered this one from Rails it said I can pay via Paypal & they'll send me an invoice when it's available but I've not had anything through  :confused2: May end up just cancelling it & buying one as I normally do, I didn't gain anything anyway as they didn't honour the pre-order price :(

cheers, Stu
