Trewoon Junction and Pentewan (for Mevagissey)

I have been working on this for about 5 years, It may not look like I have got very far, but my excuse is that for at least part of the year I work on a full size traction engine

Hi,

It looks great so far. You appear to be well stocked with engines and rolling stock. What time period are you running? Dc or DCC?

Please put up some more pics if you can, especially of the station area. Or even better still a track plan. I really like the look of the layout and I'm looking for ideas for a future layout.

Regards

Veronica

That's a very nice layout. I love the industrial area with the chimney. It's very atmospheric especially around the engine shed.

I think it's well worthy of a few more photos. :camera:

Very nice, I concur with the industrial area it looks really good, I'm sure there are many places in cities and towns in the UK that look like this, reminds me of years ago walking along the canal (cut) in Tyseley, Birmingham where the buildings overhung the canal, they had canopies very much like your buildings.

In answer to the question on whether the layout is DC or DCC, I have to confess to being old fashioned and prefer not to put a computer between the engines and me, never mind the cost of the chips.

The stock you see in the photos is all ex GWR, and I have stock representing almost any period between 1948 - 1965 (the diesels were kept in the box when I took the photo's) and also have locos from the rest of the big four and some BR standards

I will take some more photos of the layout and provide schematic track plans of both the oval and station boards as soon as I can

That's scandalous..... i shall be reporting you to the RSPCD........ ;) ;D
Although there are a few on here.....(not mentioning any names...you know who you are... ;))who think that is where diesels belong.....
Fantatic looking layout by the way.....

Here are the track plans for the Terminal station and oval boards, please excuse their crude nature, I am no good at all at drawing on the computer
