If you look at all their listings all the non sound locos are priced at what you would expect, but as soon as sound is mentioned they all go exponentially upwards.

Please excuse any poor spelling, I am Dyslexic, just think yourself lucky if you can actually read what I typed.

OUCH!

I can only think a listing error has been made or a new apprentice has been left in charge of sales/listings.

I once contacted a very reputable model railway dealer pointing out that an NGS model that they had for sale second-hand could be purchased direct form the NGS at a lesser price, including a year's NGS membership.  The response I received was that there is always someone, who for what ever reason, will pay over the odds for something listed as unusual or rare.

Very true indeed. Some folk really do go crazy when rare or unusual is mentioned.

Iíve listed things knowing they can be bought more cheaply elsewhere. If people donít want to check thatís their issue, things usually rebalance once a retailer stops their sale or runs out or whatever. Probably a bit cut throat, but itís a capitalist society!
