One word - brilliant.  Okay, a few more, not only is 'Overlord' a well designed and put together micro layout, the video and narrative really works.

Excellent Jason.

It was seeing your awesome layouts and seeing how much could be modelled in such a small space that inspired me to have a go and model "Windmill Hill".

With all best wishes
Kevin

A great model and video.

Is the AA gun scratch- built? Who provided the armour? Tamara?

Great work Kevin, love Windmill Hill, packed with detail and all self contained....everything a good micro needs to be I reckon.

Keep up the excellent work

Thanks Railwaygun,

The Bofors Gun is scratch and the Shermans, Greyhounds and Deuce and a Halves are all from the Revell Vehicle kit. This kit is an offshoot of their landing ship kit as the sprues contain some useful extra pieces as well.....namely the Oerlikons which I used on the Landing craft and the rafts. The Lct is actually the kitbashed 1/72 Airfix 'Higgins' boat.

Regards

Jason

Cracking little layout.
Just to show I was paying attention in class you might want to re-crest the J94 loco as the late crest it's showing didn't appear until the 1950s ;)

Fair point which I had considered, as I use my three J94's on other post war layouts as well I decided to run with the BR crest anyway.......good spot though!
