Hello,

since last summer I can't insert pictures from Google Photos. Is there a way to embed them again?

for this to work you need to be logged into your google account, so posting links here wont work as no one else is logged into your google account, you can post photos directly to your own gallery space in the forum or link to proper photo sharing sites such as photobucket etc.

I've jut tried to up load some picture with the "img" tag from Flickr.  I keep getting a "You don't have permission" error.

Does this help?

Afraid not.

When I upload more than 1 picture from Flickr I get the following :-

Ignore the 66.  I have a twin screen system and the 66 is my background on the second monitor.

Hi Tim,

When you say "upload" do you mean embed an image on a post on this forum, of an image already uploaded to flickr?

Difficult to read your screen-shot (need to crop it down a bit), but (I can now read that at full zoom) that looks like an error trying to post.

Can you just copy the link addresses to the images directly in a post so we can see the links?

Well I tried some random flickr images in another post, using the BBcode share links,  and they didn't show if more than one image linked.

I got the same "Forbidden" message from trying to preview the post.

Seems you're right Tim    :(  :(

I have just loaded this from my servimg account.

This one uses the "/img" top and tail.

This one uses "url" and the servimg address outside the "/img"

The " " represent the [ ].

Yeah, servimg is one of the "friendly" ones which is still quite happy for you embed direct links to image files.

Sadly flickr seems not to be so friendly, and wants to surround with photo credits, bits of javascript and other gumpf to the point where this forum doesn't like multiple sets of their tags.

Actually, you can get round the flickr gumpf by extracting just the image source url from their "Embedded" share tags.

Here are 3 flickr images in the same post:
