Hi

You're getting on quicker than me with the Cubes. I have two in primer and one without the etches.

Cheers

Shift work and lack of sleep due to heat helps!

And the fact for the first time I am really enjoying doing some modelling for myself! I may have to get some more 🤦‍♂️

Cheers

Have you got a link for that picture of 6 of the cubes plus Megafrets?

Cheers, Mike

Thanks Callum!

I think that only two of them are in DRS/Malcolm livery but happy to be proved wrong! I know that two definitely got repainted into DRS/Malcolm - on Arran's photo you can see the difference between the two with red underframes vs the other 4 which look to have heavily weathered Rover grey underframes.

Cheers, Mike

Hi All

So today i took the plunge and tried doing decals and using microsol/set for the first time, Happy enough with the results, Just need to redo the DRS one the way it has gone on the "D" has wrapped around and cant be seen from most directions.

One thing i had to do was use the Black "KSAA" as i found that there wasn't a white one on the decal sheet

Cheers

Hi all

KSA Rover Cubes are progressing ... brought in a friend to do the red paint jobs ... he has done a cracking job!  ... wasn't confident enough to do all the masking on it!

So just the transfers, and chassis on the reds and finish. And transfers on the blue

Cheers

Pleased with the result!

Also today I started to put the chassis on the red Cubes

Hi All

More progress on the Timber Wagons, Got all the decks made up, and are all in various stages of Sanding, Painting and final tweaks,

Started to put the stanchon bottoms on one, Very Very Fiddly so gave up for a while

1 has all it's decals on, just awaiting the stanchon bottoms,

Another 2 are awaiting Decals and stanchon bottoms.

The rest in various different stages,

Had a go at running them all together today, all ran really well on a Kato test circuit I set up that had lumps and bumps and they all stayed together so pleased! Work will resume after my shifts

Also gave me a chance to run in my 37/5 conversion that needs some filling on the roof and the numbers changed which arrived last week

Cheers
Callum
