Service Sheet Requests
« on: June 23, 2018, 06:39:59 pm »
Hi folks, chancing my luck a bit here but does anyone have a PDF or scan of the instructions/service sheet for the Farish Class 170 (371-433) and/or the Farish 64XX Pannier Tank (371-985)? Alas both are missing from the Farish site these days.

Thank for that, but the link for the service sheets is for Branchline 00 stuff, and the link for the instruction sheets does not contain the ones you showed for the 64xx Pannier and the class 170 :confused2:

Well this has got me beat now.  To find the 64xx I did a Google for Farish 64XX Pannier Tank service sheet and came up with a single .pdf file, which I posted the link for Kaput.  Then I searched for the Class 170 and found the Farish sheets and posted the link.

I have tried to locate the 64xx again on Google to try a 'reverse search' it, but can't find it again :(

That's all I can tell you at the mo'.

@dancemaster  @Newportnobby    All seems a bit odd, the links given in reply #1 both go to individual pdf service sheets
The one for the 64x is headed Graham Farish so,is probably correct, and still there, so I copied it.
But the Class 170 sheet is not headed but refers to Bachmann in the instructions so probably is for 00.

However when I use the links in reply #4 in both cases I get referred to Bachmanns Knowledge Base for Graham Farish and I cant spot either loco listed.

Thanks, but what's confusing is the 64xx does not appear in that list yet Dancemaster found it somewhere - see reply to the OP :confused1:

O.K here we go !.....I put this ...  service sheet Farish 64XX Pannier Tank  ... into Google and the first link was to the one that I posted to Kaput.  I tried to breakdown the address under the heading (In green type on my Google) to Bachmann and got a message saying 'I was not allowed to view this site' !   :(

So I am afraid I am back to square one.

If anyone can sort this out it would be interesting to know how you did it !

Regards

Tony

I have done exactly as you did on the basis there must a site somewhere containing more service sheets but breaking the web address down to service.bachmann.co.uk/wp-content/uploads got me nowhere.
Very frustrating as I tend to bookmark such useful sources

A number of service sheets are available but like a lot of things on the new Bachman website they are not easy to find at a glance, so try this:

http://service.bachmann.co.uk/knowledge-base/instruction-sheets/

hope this helps Mick

In the past I've used the Contact Us form on the Bachmann website to ask for pdf instruction sheets for locos that are not listed on the website and they generally reply within a couple of hours with the pdf attached.

Thanks, Alex. I already have that one bookmarked but it doesn't contain the Farish 64xx pannier that Dancemaster provided the link to. That's the mysterious site we're try to track down.
