Haha we all like pretty things lol. I know what a trestle is but would be unsure how to fit that.   But legs do need some sort of cross section unsure how yet tho.

The legs will definitely need a bit of diagonal cross bracing. At least lengthways to the layout and ideally across the ends.
A fairly simple and minimal option if you have an IKEA nearby is the metal X bracing struts they sell for their shelving. Itís basically 2 thin steel rods fixed crosswise with a bolt in the centre so they can rotate (like scissors) to be fixed across a variable width. They have screw holes at the end of each rod so theyíre a doddle to fix. You could probably do something similar with any sort of long steel rod but itís probably simplest to have wooden diagonal braces to each leg for the lengthwise bracing and a wire brace across each end.

I have 4 IKEA trestles supporting my L shape layout. Very sturdy and height adjustable.

Take a look here for their range:

Other suppliers are available.  ;)
