2FS point rodding
« on: April 06, 2018, 08:31:02 am »
On the way to the Friday night meat raffle at the bowling club, I just called in at the newsagent (as you do), and MRJ 260 (I think) was in there.

I had a flip through it, and there was an article on 2FS point rodding. I only had a quick glance at it, but it looked to me that it operated!

Geez....  :o

There is also an article by legend Barry Norman about modelling an English elm tree. Probably in 4mm scale, but applicable to ours.  :beers:

Thanks George - I actually flagged this up back in January under Track, Points and Underlay.
The method uses 2mm Association components and looks both fiendishly fiddly to do but very impressive when finished.

I don't know why it is George but, even after ten years of retirement, the Friday night pint is still the best one of the week.

I'm looking forward to mine in a couple of hours time!

Mike
