Hello from Scotland
« on: March 03, 2018, 04:31:54 pm »
 :hellosign: everyone,

New to the forum here. Just ran across it searching for n gauge info.

I become interested in trains when I was a toddler, my father's fault (he did work for a railway rolling stock manufacturer).
Once I couldn't play with the real thing my father gave me a OO train set...so much of my childhood was spent around model trains. Then moved to real big motorcycles but that's another story.
After all this years away from the hobby I'm trying to start again but this time in N gauge, so any help/advise are welcome.

Welcome aboard.  The Forum is an outstanding resource.

I also have big real motorcycles and small real trains.

What they have in common is both are wonderful but, occasionally, can be a real menace!

Mostly British prototype trains, but some US 'N Scale'.  No US motorcycles, though - they are all British.

All best wishes.

John

The Table-Top Railway is a train set trying and failing to be a model railway.

I believe that train sets and model railways are fun.
