Link doesn't work for me as it directs me to another site I'm not willing to try :uneasy:
Anyway, Brief Encounter was filmed at Carnforth :P

Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

The point of TinyURL preview is to show you which site you are being redirected to.

Some malicious people use Short URLs to direct you to a compromis d site.

So it is a safety measure.

Anyway, Brief Encounter was filmed at Carnforth :P

Don't forget the 1974 remake with Sophia Loren and Richard Burton. This used Brockenhurst station as a stand in for Winchester. The film isn't a patch on the 1945 version with Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson but it's entertaining enough and is [or at least was when I watched it] available on You Tube.

I've never seen that version.
I believe some of the express run throughs in the 1945 version were filmed at Watford Junction as Carnforth is all on the curve.

I've just watched the original again - managed to get through it without a box of tissues.

If you look carefully at the opening sequence the destination boards are showing Skipton and Hellifield.
