A little help Peco streamline 80 points
« on: February 06, 2018, 04:56:11 pm »
hi all,

I'm brand new at this and i have a few Setrack and streamline points.

I want to connect 2 SL-395 to join the out and in lines. Two questions before I start to break things:
 - connecting this 2 points without break the tie under the track seems impossible. Is this normal? Do I need to break the ties to connect the two points?
 - If I connect the 2 points I have a distance of 2,64 cm (1,039"). Is this an aceptable distance bettewen tracks?

Tis normal. Use a scalpel or craft knife to trim the offending part(s). 1 inch distance between tracks is fine on the straight. Might need a bit more on tighter curves.
 :beers:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

This bit is always a bit fiddly and a bit of a nuisance what I usually do is trim a little off all the offending sleepers till It all fits nicely and once itís ballasted you canít really tell or see whatís been done.
Best of luck
Tim

Yes, it is a fiddly nuisance but one we have to live with, unfortunately.
