Sorry for the delay. I've been busy with other stuff. Basically the gates were fiddly but I think worth the effort. Stain them be building them though.

After not doing much for quite some time I have finally got round to doing some work on the coal yard that the layout is named after.
I've added some brick walls and a bit of barbed wire that is to be honest a bit too shiny. The buffer stops, office and staithes are now glued down.  I have added some weeds and filled the staithes with coal.

So with some more ballast laid I find that I have two different grey ballasts!

Yeah, the second lot is considerably finer and I wish I'd spotted that first!
