« on: March 22, 2017, 02:18:22 pm »
Hi All,

 :helpneededsign:

A while back i picked up a part built Kit, i was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the build of the kit? as the Instructions are really not the best? or Can give some advice on the build?

Cheers

Callum

I sold a kit a few years ago to Steve purves. Who is on the forum. I know he built the body. But lost track if he ever got the kato short chassis converted to fit it.

@Ben A has one he built in White, I fixed the motorisation so its more reliable by adding pickups at both ends, maybe he has the instructions still?

Hi all,

The kit was designed by Bernard Taylor (TPM) for Dave Jones (DJ Models) in his N-thusiast Resprays days.

Sorry, I don't have the instructions any more - I think I built the kit about 15 years ago! - but DJM may be able to help.

Cheers

Ben A.

Hi
I've built two and got instructions.  You will need a Kato shorty Chassis, as the original motorising kit was awful.

FYI

Dave has told me that he would consider getting the kit re-done providing there were enough enough people interested in it.

Any takers?

I never received mine either, but would love to buy one again.  Preferably RTR (no time to build one)!

Hi

If he does he might like to make a change to the hydraulic lines that run down the side as at the large cab end they are too deep and when attached they end up off the bottom of the body side. I modified mine by cutting a piece out.

Cheers

Paul
