Chipping a Farish 64XX - Guidance Needed
« on: January 07, 2017, 08:59:20 pm »
I am considering buying one of the Farish 64XX locos but there doesn't seem to be an on-line Service Sheet available for this loco.

Can anyone let me have a copy of service sheet that comes with the loco and details how to fit a chip please?

Alternatively has anyone installed one of the right-angled decoders in this Loco and could let me know how easy or otherwise it was?

Any advice gratefully received.

Ray

I have fitted a right angled chip in mine.....dead easy. Body shell is secured with a single screw. Will post a copy of the instruction sheet tomorrow morning.
